Case studies are used in academia not for expanding our knowledge of the world of what’s happening, but really to consider methods of how to excavate knowledge through different methods of inquiry. I’m attempting to tackle the breadth of possible reference points in relationship to the nation of Malaysia, or similar contexts through the lens of decoloniality global south or diversity (as a very diverse nation state!)
The act of mapping arts collectives, arts initiatives, arts institution, is an ongoing pursuit. Recently, ThinkCity Maps were taken down from their platform. CENDANA Maps were recently also taken down.
